With all the amazing restaurants around Georgia, you can find a delicious meal everywhere you turn. What really makes a dining experience memorable, however, is if the restaurant has charm and character — decor dating back decades lining the wall, endearing service that makes you feel like old friends or even menus with dishes so beloved they haven't changed in years.
According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the "most charming restaurant" in all of Georgia is Appalachian Grill. This Cartersville eatery serves "tasteful entrees" in a "mountain chalet-type atmosphere" sure to leave a lasting impression, per its website. Appalachian Grill, which has a 4.4 star rating on Google and more than 1,700 reviews, is located at 14 E Church Street.
Here's what LoveFood had to say about this "delightful" restaurant:
"Set in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, Appalachian Grill resembles a cozy alpine cabin thanks to its antique artwork and exposed brick walls – not to mention the skis and poles mounted on the walls. The menu is just as tempting as the décor; there's plenty of sophisticated comfort food on offer, including seafood pasta, blackened salmon and shrimp, pecan chicken, and barbecue pork chops."
