When search for a place to settle down and call home, many factors may play into one's decision, such as safety and criminal activity, proximity to incredible restaurants and exciting nightlife, and access to quality health care or education. However, one of the biggest concerns when it comes to finding a home is the price. While there are plenty of more affordable places to live around the state, if you're looking for something a bit more extravagant, it will come with a heftier price tag.

According to a list compiled by Family Handyman, the most expensive neighborhood in all of Georgia is Atlanta and the 30327 zip code. Several neighborhoods found around Atlanta were recently recognized as some of the best places to live in the country. Additionally, just 50 miles outside of the city, you'll be able to find one of the "most beautiful lakes" in America.

Here's what the site had to say about the most expensive zip code in the state:

"The [state's] capital, Atlanta, offers a median home value of $1,170,200. There's a lot to love about the southern city, including the vibrant music scene, rich history and diverse cuisine."
