Brett Eldredge opened up about his difficult battle with anxiety over the years in a vulnerable Instagram post on Monday.

The Country star, who recently announced his holiday album Mr. Christmas along with the accompanying tour, got personal in the inspirational post, sharing with his 1.4 million followers the his battle with anxiety had returned. He wrote,

STAY IN THE FIGHT…lately I have had a pretty solid relationship with the anxiety beast I’ve dealt with for years…recently, for a few days out of nowhere it showed up and overwhelmed me…I’d constantly be short of breath and feeling overwhelmed for days with no real explanation

The "Drunk On Your Love" singer continued on sharing the steps he's taken during the difficult journey, and inspired others that may be suffering to not give up.

"Instead of hiding(like I once did), I stuck to the process, knowing I survived all the other times and setbacks are common…I kept showing up to life and leaning into the things that give me strength and stability…it passed and I feel even stronger than before, I took this photo in the middle of the setback to remind myself that even in the tough times, we can be strong as hell, and the storm will always pass if we face it…if you’re goin through it, hang in there, you will be surprised what you’re capable of."

In celebration of the release of Mr. Christmas, Eldredge is gearing up to revive his Glow Live Tour, from November 13 to December 18. The star will play nine shows in nine cities, including Las Vegas, Nashville, Boston, New York City and Chicago with two shows planned in each city except Vegas. Tickets are available at BrettElderege.com.

Thank you for your bravery, Brett.
