All Hurricane Warnings Lifted for Florida's East Coast

Isaias Advisory Sunday 8/2 at 8 a.m.

Tropical Storm Isaias’ sustained winds decreased to 65 mph this morning, and the Hurricane Warnings have been replaced with Tropical Storm Warnings along Florida's East Coast.

Forecasters are cautioning Tropical Storm Isaias is still a dangerous storm but it failed to re-strengthen into a hurricane overnight.

Isaias is expected to pass through South Florida this morning and then track up Florida's East Coast. On Monday and Tuesday, the storm is forecast to move from offshore of the Georgia coast into the southern mid-Atlantic states.

The National Hurricane Center's 8 a.m. Sunday morning advisory has Isaias with maximum sustained winds of 65 miles per hour and about 40 miles southeast of West Palm Beach. It's moving northwest at 8 miles per hour.

Florida's East Coast may experience heavy rains, gusty winds, flooding, storm surge, and power outages.
