Poll Showing Kid Rock Leading in Senate Race Might Be Too Good To Be True

INJOEditor's Note: Independent Journal Review previously titled this article, “Democrats Should be Terrified Reading the First Polls out for Kid Rock.” However, an investigation by The Resurgent has revealed that a website for the polling firm Delphi Analytica was registered just two weeks ago, leading to doubts about the authenticity of the findings. 

Kid Rock is running for the U.S. Senate in Michigan.

At least according to decisive statements from the rock/rap superstar and die-hard Republican.

Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, has released a campaign website, yard signs, campaign gear and policy statements.

The proposition of a Sen. Rock has sent chills through the Democrat establishment, which has already begun to attack the music icon. Both Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Chuck Schumer sent out warning emails to their bases, and Rock's Democratic rival in the race, Debbie Stabenow, has been nervously tweeting about him.

However, new polls out Monday have given Democrats good cause for all of the nervous hand-wringing.
